After that, 5013 inspection teams were organized in accordance with the work plan for the fire safety inspection of museums and cultural relics. Local inspection teams inspected 30854 museums and cultural relic buildings, found 69688 hidden dangers, urged rectification and reform of 61168, demolished 836 illegal buildings built illegally in and around cultural and museum units, temporarily sealed up and shut down 89 fire danger places, exposed 498 fire hazards and illegal acts, and listed 14 units with major fire hazards. At the same time, local governments, cultural and cultural relics departments and social units were encouraged to invest 0.444 billion yuan in fire control funds, and the major inspection achieved phased results.
